Selling "designer" puppies when other dogs are in dire need of a home. Disgusting. Puppy mill practices, that's all that is.
Went in last weekend with my daughter. of course no one came from the back to ask us if we needed anything. the puppies looked so downtrodden and somber. I have had many dogs in my life and never saw puppies look so tired and unhappy. I would never buy from this overpriced puppy mill.
We purchased our Wheaton, Teddy on December 23, 2016 and he is the best! Bark Avenue took care of us and made sure we had everything that we needed to take Teddy home and care for him. We received all of his paperwork, background, etc. They even followed up with us a few weeks later to see how Teddy was adjusting to his new home and family. My family has severe allergies and we need breeds that are hypoallergenic and do not shed, so we have always purchased a specific breed. I do not agree with this proposal. I do think stores should be closely monitored because there are bad store owners and businesses, but people should have the option of getting the type of puppy/dog that works best for their family. I am very happy with my puppy and the staff and service that my family received from Bar Avenue. Thanks.

Went in looking at a bulldog. Asked for information on breeder and the parents of the puppy, they told me that they had the info but not allowed to give me the information. Asked if they would need anything from me to establish that I would be a good pet owner (vet recommendations) they said no, anyone can buy a dog. They definitely seem to be running a shady business if they won't tell you about breeders or parent history of dogs. Will never step foot in again, state needs to look into them.
I have a Victorian Bulldog from here and I've never been more happy! she has been perfect since day one. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly they truly care about their pups! ! I have family members and friends who also bought from here and we are all more then happy with our experience! i highly recommend Bark Avenue!!
